The Agricultural Experiment Station for plant cultivation and plant protection at Ihinger Hof is an institution of the University of Hohenheim. The Station is headed by Dr. Wilfried Hermann. He is supported by a well-trained and motivated team. The staff at the Agricultural Experiment Station is divided into five departments, introduced on the following pages:
Despite the division into multiple departments and work areas, the tasks are completed by staff working across the departments. In this way, it is possible to make use of synergetic effects through teamwork, cooperation and communication.
Many large-scale experiments on complete individual plots are a good example of the collaboration between the departments of Operations, Laboratory and Experiments
